Christelle Enquist

I speak four languages, photography is my fifth. These languages allow me to interact and communicate and when words fail, photography has always been there for me. It is the tool I use to get close to people, to capture the intricacies of different cultures and tell stories that move me.

With the advances in technology and availability of social media, it has become easy to photograph and share our work, but I believe that all of us who hold a camera in our hands have a responsibility to use this powerful tool as best we can and with intention. For this reason, in 2016 I co-founded The Raw Society: a platform that encourages learning and growth within the language of photography and a space for passionate photographers to come together as a community.
