PRINTS for TURKEY
The Kahramanmaras earthquake that shook Turkey on the 6th of February claimed over 40,000 lives and displaced over 1 million people. From one day to another, entire families have had their lives changed for ever and will have to endure the aftereffects for years to come.
As photographers who have spent time in Turkey, revelled in its beauty and been privy to the kindness and hospitality of its people, we felt that we had a responsibility to give back in this time of great need. So we organized a print sale fundraiser in order to help earthquake survivors.
All funds (minus costs) from the print sale were donated to Turkey Mozaik’s Emergency Relief Fund. Turkey Mozaik is a nonprofit organization that one of our members knows personally and can thus vouch for with regards to making good use of the money raised.
This print sale ran from February 16th to March 2nd.

ABOUT THE PRINTS
Picto New York, based in New York & Paris produced and shipped all the prints.
Open edition, fine art prints were available for the duration of the PRINTS FOR TURKEY Fundraiser.
Depending on the image ratio, the prints were different sizes within a maximum size of 8″x12″. All images were printed on satin photobase paper.
ABOUT PRINTS FOR
‘PRINTS FOR’ is a series of yearly fundraisers that are hosted by The Raw Society, in collaboration with our members and a select group of generous and talented photographers, for causes that we believe in. The photographs donated by the collaborating artists will be directly related to the area or region where the funds will be donated, thus creating a unifying theme for each fundraiser.
